As usual, I found this book at a brick and mortor bookstore and returned home to look it up on-line. Let me tell you what others have not. To a seamstress, curator, or art historian, this book may be of little value, but to a lay person, it is a great resource. Now I can look up designers, period styles and their origen, and industry terms. The photography is great! Pictures are historically interesting and targeted to compliment text as well as rule out what time has lost or confused. I can’t wait to receive my copy.

Pictures and some of info is useful but the book is so small you need a magnifying glass to read. Some info is very common, some could have had more detail. I now see why Amazon did not show details inside the book. Save your money.
